An app for people
who want a fresh start
Habit Swap is made by Andreas from Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It’s an independent project, with no investors and no ads.
Why Habit Swap exists
Many habit apps count days and reward streaks. Slip once and you’re back at zero, feeling worse than before. Habit Swap is meant to be different: honest about what’s hard, practical in the moment that matters, and full of hope, because change doesn’t depend on our strength alone.
The app brings together what research knows about habits and what the Christian faith says about repentance, grace, and community. Together they carry further than either on its own.
What we stand by
Honest, not shaming
We talk plainly about pornography, alcohol, and other struggles, without wagging fingers. No one should feel worse after opening the app.
Grace, not pressure
A slip isn’t a fall off the mountain. Whoever falls can get up and keep going, today.
Your data is yours
What you record in the app stays on your iPhone. No ads, no tracking, no selling data.
Faith as an invitation
Habit Swap is shaped by Christian faith and open to everyone. No one has to believe to use it.
Grounded, not sensational
Our articles rely on established research and name their sources. Where something is unclear, we say so.
Not a substitute for help
The app doesn’t replace a doctor, a therapist, or addiction counseling. In a crisis, it shows you where to get help right away.
